Title Suggestion/Change?
I'm not here to rank, or ask for something easier. I'm here to suggest a simple idea at which you can say yes or no to.
Legendary Skill Hunter:
Capture all the elites across all three campaigns: Prophecies, Factions, Nightfall.
What I yearn:
A skill title that applies to learning every current profession skill in the game. This title would apply only to non-elite skills. Rather than give everyone an extra three or four titles for getting all the available skills (including core) provided in each campaign, or give you a title for each profession (that's a laugh right there) I suggest it just gives you 1/10 for every profession that character has learned all the skills for.
So, like right now, I'd have 3/10 since I have completely learned all the Warrior, Ranger, and Assassin skills on this character.
The name of the title I am currently undecided on, but it could just be 'Legendary Skill Hunter.'
Which is why I make this suggestion...
Change 'Legendary Skill Hunter' to a title requiring all three of the elites captured in each separate campaign, but make the profession required title only one single, and it forces you to have all three campaigns. If you have captured all the elites and have obtained all the non-elite skills on one single character, you get the title... (I thought it was fun.)
"All Your Skills Are Belong To Me"
Ideas, thoughts? I understand that it ruins currently holders of the Legendary Skill Hunter title, but let me verify, I am one of those people with the title. I just find that obtaining all the non-elite skills is far more harder than the elite skills are. I like the end result title a lot more. It's far more impressive.
/signed?
/unsigned?
Comments or thoughts?
As a side-note: Anet, do you think on titles such as Legendary Skill Hunter or Legendary Cartographer, could we get rid of the number next to the title? It makes it ugly, in my opinion, to see someone have a title such as "Legendary Cartographer (1)" which makes 'uneducated' players think there's a higher rank. "Uber Cartaugopher (2)"

I think skill hunter should be left as it with one exception- ACCOUNT BASED! I recently got Legendary Skill hunter on my elementalist put I would of preferred to cap all the warrior skills with my warrior , ranger skill with my ranger etc. Such a waste capping all these skills and my other characters can not use them without an elite tome which are pricey or a re-capture.
The only alternative is have elite tomes for sale at a merchant for a fixed price price much lower than they are from other players, or at least a discount is given with accounts that have all elite skills unlocked. This could also be a free signet of 're-capture' if you need to cap a skill already capped previously with your legendary skill hunter character.

Imo skill hunter is fine the way it is, we don't need more titles for getting all normal skills.

Change titles: No.
Add a title for acquiring all 1319 skills, including all PvE skills and even the twenty Luxon/Kurzick: Yes.
It could be called... hm... 'Legendary Seeker of Power'. Without separate titles for each campaign. Just one title for all.

Just another money-sink title. Get UAX then a boatload of tomes and you've got the title (I know this, because I'm UAX and tomes are cheaper than Skills from the trainer, even though the trainer will let me learn any of the campaign's skills). And it's kind've pointless to have all skills on one character, just another way to enlarge the e-peen of some.

tomes get over farmed? lol wut?
selling tomes for 100g? if anything, the price would go up. price = consumer demand + availability. Less tomes = higher prices.
I do like the idea about having all skills for each profession in a seperate title track. This would need to be a PvE only title track for the obvious reason

They can change titles, and I say they should. Legendary Skill Hunter should represent that you have all the skills, not all the elite skills. That's only around 300 skills total. If not, even less.
They have changed titles before: Gladiator title. That had a major update which enfuriated some (like myself) and enlightened those who have no idea to play to come into the arenas. More power to them.
And the title 'Legendary Seeker of Power' makes me think of the Wisdom title track. I still think 'All Your Skills Are Belong To Me' is the best.

Gee, that's one of the thirty-some titles that I'll never go for.

Assuming the price of tomes is still 500 each, that's about 660k. I'm not going to bother looking up what's PvE exclusive and what isn't to get a better estimate.

elite skill hunter should stay unchanged, for referance to my next point, it only cost 300K and time to cap.
I'd like to see a UAX title. If you are UAX on you raccount, all your pvp character should get the title, make it a single tier max title. But for PvE characters, you have to have all the skill on that character, using tomes or trainers. Reason for this:
Cost ~1.3 mil or 650k using tomes (but your accoutn has to be UAX already), this is comparable to the Legendary skill hunter (4 titles), and drunkard, sweettooth, in matters of money/time. I do beleive UAX is a big deal in both pve and pvp communties. And adding a title like this makes finding party members in pvp easier, and also adds a money sink in pve.

/notsigned, Anet should pay more attention to whats really wrong with the game instead of just changing something for the sake of it.
